The Two

Baba ho! Where do I start from?

Vi (Apoorva) as I call her became the little sister that I always wanted. The ever confused ever curious girl who just made her way to my heart so easily, I say that because it’s really difficult to break through me. It all began with you wanting to know more about making a detail drawing for pantry from there to the endless visits to Oberoi Mall and how many and sitting next to each other. This one was a big distraction from work. Always chatting relevant- irrelevant stuff. From listening to her complaints about maid and about her crush on John Abraham which now, has moved to Varun Dhawan 🙄 how we have always tried looking for job options where we don’t have to work much and get a handsome pay cheque.
You are crazy woman! Handling your mood swings is a tuff job bro and am I good at it o what. :)
Always be as little as you can at heart. You are just adorable that way and you make me immensely proud by staying all alone in Videsh.

Now the other one
This one is mad as hell
So it did not start that well with her. Probably because she was from the ‘DILLI’ . I always have been  ‘beware of Delhi girls’ type kyunki woh bahut he chant hoti hai.
With Deeko (deepika) iaslt (did not get it right?) It All Started Like This. Only she knew the abbreviations of what she typed in short forms.  From kkc ( khana khane chale), tmt (I don’t want to abbreviate that) to ttth and innumerous more. Oh my goodness! Gradually we at Office learnt it too and it became the commonly spoken 2nd language. This one became the soul of Office at-least for me. I was never a stay over at Office colleagues Home kinda person. But with deeko it was more like staying at your own place. How I remember cleaning the house together the 1st time I visited. The PG girls really make a mess! Every time spent with you has only made me happier. Sharing the same love for mushroom and pasta just added to the fun. I can’t thank you enough for being there giving lectures and always spreading positivity. Infinite love to you monkey.

Charmolypi

Leaving me with anguish

You settled for someone

It Only strengthened my yearning

But Remembering you was not a choice for me

You were present in every thought every moment

I remember you as you were

Clasping on to my arms like a creeper

Listening to the birds and sea

Feeling your eyes traveling deep within me

In Those kisses and caresses

We found our serenity

YOU

Life was always fun
But your presence made it exuberant
Every moment spent with you,
Never realized so swiftly it flew..
Stories told untold,
That's how relations unfold..
Life was always fun
But with you... the joy grew..

Reminiscence

It smelled of you again, today, very strongly..
I looked everywhere fearing if you were around..
Yes, 'fear' it was
The same smell that comforted me now startled me..
No, it wasn't you that I was afraid of but fearing the emotions, the reactions, the fear of wanting you
It was more than an aroma, it reminded me of the lasting impact you left on my heart, the way your fingers wandered my skin but somehow clutched my soul..
The smell did make me want you back, longing the same comfort it yielded, the confidence it built and the happiness it gave..
The power it gave me of owning you, the smell that rooted my faith deeper in you, the feeling of just being so complete.
How it made me recollect loving you madly, and then, the day it ended, ending my little world..
Yes, your smell still lingers

Color Blocking

How often do you think about Colors? How important is color to you?

Well! I guess the answer to this should be "Everyday"
- Picking your toothbrush from the sets of similar one's in the holder, whose color is of-course different from the rest and WHY? Just so that you can differentiate it among the rest
- Choosing what clothes to wear for the day, finding a matching pant for the shirt or visa versa, matching belts shoes, belt.
- Choosing an appropriate color of nail paint, lipstick, handbag, shoes, scarf for women (and the list here is never ending), accessories
- Going to buy a Car? here too every member of the family will have random color preferences

To sum it up, color plays a indispensable roll in daily life

What do these images say??
Do you think they are:

Here is a new experience of Color combination called COLOR BLOCKING

Color is the visual perceptual property in humans to the categories called Red, Blue, Yellow, Green etc..

Color Blocking is a method of wearing/ using/ applying multiple solid colors. It usually revolves around a palette of two or more colors, mostly in bold and bright shades.
Prints and patterns are/should be avoided for this kind of color experience for a simple reason that it takes away your attention from the blocked color visuals.

Here's a little case study on the knowledge and preferences of random people and their reactions to color blocking

So here in the chart above, first people were asked if they had ever hear the term "COLOR BLOCKING"- 63% people did know about it and for the rest of them, they were shown random images to give them and idea about it.
Secondly they were asked what would they prefer from neutral color shades and color blocking, here people were quiet apprehensive because they had never tried it even after knowing about it
Thirdly they were asked, if guided properly on how to chose combinations would they try it, and as you saw in the results 81% were enthusiastic about trying and the rest still weren't confident enough

Now comes the part of choosing right combinations be it interiors or apparel

After studying about the same the equilateral triangle method was the preferred one and supposedly the best combination derived from it

You make a color wheel or print it rather,
place and equilateral triangle over it, the vertices of it would be pointing on 3 colors, those combinations are the one to be used for color blocking.
The opposites are a no-no (anyone can still try them for a fancy dress u think of becoming a clown)

Below are two examples on how they can be used in interiors

The image above talks about how the colors are used on walls, carpets, chairs- how they shout out but are subsided with the use of one major solid color (ex blue is the maximum used color in image 1)

and this image above shows how the colors can be used to accessorize any space

So here you are, to try out a color experience..
Happy Color Blocking!

'Us..'

The language of silence
Wonderfully binds us.
When I am with you,
I don't need any words

Expressing anything you have to say,
Your eyes do it in a beautiful way..

The way they speak to me
I know you are the one
With whom I want to be

When something that I've to say
I simply use your way..
Let eyes do the talking,
And let's just keep walking..
Walking on the path
That has no ends
The path that is called love
Which rightly defines 'US'....
